Consistent Pacing Leads to Victory Team WABTY achieved an overall victory at the 2026 Casper Marathon in the Half Marathon Relay event. Starting strong with an 8:38 min/mile, they maintained a consistent pace, improving their splits in the latter half of the race. Notably, at Mile 10, they recorded a split time of 7:03 min/mile, their fastest of the race, showcasing their ability to accelerate as the race progressed. Finishing with an overall time of 1:44:31 and an average pace of 7:58 min/mile, Team WABTY secured the top position among all participants. Their ability to consistently improve their split times, particularly from Mile 7 onwards, highlights their endurance and strategy across the course. Continuing to focus on maintaining consistent pacing while pushing for faster splits can further solidify their performances in future races. Great effort was demonstrated throughout the race.
