Sustained Composure Leads to Strong Finish Rocky Mountain Nooners showcased consistent performance throughout their Half Marathon Relay at the 2026 Casper Marathon. Starting with a solid first mile at a brisk 11:25 pace, they maintained stability through the first half of the race, with marginal deviations in pace. While the 5th mile saw a peak in split time at 13:04, the team swiftly regained control in the following miles. Their impressive acceleration in the latter stages was noteworthy. From the 7th mile onward, they consistently improved, marking their fastest split at mile 10 with a 7:53 pace. This consistent improvement led to an overall time of 2:12:41, locking in second place overall and within their gender. A strategic focus on sustaining pace improvements, especially in intermediate miles, could further enhance their race dynamics. Well done on a strong performance!
