Strong Start, Consistent Mid-Race, and a Creative Finish Jarod Libby displayed a commendable start with his first half of the marathon featuring a significant lift in pace from an 11:21 min/mile to as fast as 10:19 min/mile by mile 7. This placed him effectively among the top 40% of male division participants in several instances, with a strong show at mile 6 where he surged to 107th in his division.
