Consistent Performance with Competitive Age Division Finish Betsy Stewart completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon with an overall time of 5:49:34, averaging a pace of 13:20 min/mile over the 26.2 miles. She secured 4th place in the F65-69 division, showing competitive strength among her peers. Her overall placement was 1402nd out of 1834 participants, marking a solid finish. Examining her splits, Betsy's performance was notably consistent, especially in the early stages of the race where she maintained a fairly steady pace of around 12:50 min/mile up to mile 11. She had a brief surge at mile 7 with a split of 12:31 min/mile. Suggesting a focus on maintaining this pace in later miles could help enhance overall finish time. With a slight increase in split times from mile 16 onwards, aiming for more evenly paced splits in future races might benefit overall performance.
