Consistent Pacing and a Strong Finish Mark Revesz maintained a consistent pace throughout the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. His first half was steady, with splits improving gradually from a 10:32 min/mile at mile 1 to a strong 9:50 pace by mile 6. He reached mile 10 at a 9:53 pace and placed 973rd overall at that point. While there was a slight increase in time during the later miles, Revesz managed his energy well, maintaining an overall pace of 10:50 min/mile. Towards the latter half of the race, Mark displayed resilience by picking up speed in mile 23 with a faster split of 14:16 min/mile compared to 15:49 in mile 22. His final mile was completed at 10:56 min/mile, showing an admirable level of determination. Finishing at 4:44:13, he remained competitive within his age division (M35-39), placing 97th. Focusing on more consistent pacing in later miles could further enhance future performance.
