Quick Feet Through Marathon Distances Blake Ressler demonstrated a strong marathon performance at the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon in Winooski, VT, as evidenced by his average pace of 6:01 min/mile over 26.2 miles. Notably, Blake maintained a consistent pace under 6 minutes per mile for the majority of the race. His most impressive split was at mile 6, where he achieved a pace of 5:48. He finished with an elapsed time of 2:37:45. Blake's positioning within the M Masters division was commendable, remaining predominantly 2nd throughout the race and finishing as the 2nd M Masters participant. His performance showed resilience, with only minor variations in pace seen towards the later splits. Perhaps more even pacing in those miles could yield faster overall timings in future races. However, Blake's determination and strategy in this event deserve recognition.
