Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Clara maintained a consistent pace through the marathon with a final time of 3:39:21, reflecting an average pace of 8:22 min/mile. Her disciplined approach kept her steady across the splits, notably finishing the marathon in 9th place within her division for age group F35-39. Clara began with an 8:14 min/mile, demonstrating a strong start that she managed to keep through various stages, allowing for minimal fluctuation in pace. Towards the latter stages of the race, Clara displayed resilience, particularly from mile 18 onward, maintaining positions in the top 9 of her division. Noteworthy splits include mile 9 where she clocked 7:57 min/mile, and mile 13 at 8:18 min/mile, both illustrating an impressive ability to pick up the pace when it mattered. Consistency in performance is a strong suit, perhaps focusing on gaining an edge during those recovery phases between speedier splits could further enhance her race strategy.
