Remarkable Consistency in the Vermont City Marathon Sergey Volkov maintained a commendably consistent pace throughout the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:43:35 and an average pace of 8:32 min/mile. Notably, Sergey managed to sustain a steady rhythm through most of the race, especially during the first half, where his splits ranged from 8:05 to 8:51 min/mile. Of particular interest is the strong finish, clocking the last mile at 8:05 min/mile, demonstrating a solid push to the end. Though there was a slight decrease in pace around miles 20-21 with split times of 9:43 and 9:07 min/mile, Sergey quickly regained momentum.
