Consistent Early Performance, Slowed in Later Segments Jann Sepulveda delivered a robust start to the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. His initial 6 miles showed steady improvement, decreasing his pace from 11:08 min/mile to an impressive 9:25 min/mile by the sixth mile. During these early stages, Jann improved to position 975 overall and 603 in the M25-29 division. Consistency in pacing could be further optimized, as slight fluctuations occurred in the later distances, where his pacing was primarily between 10:14 and 12:41 min/mile up to mile 17. The remainder of Jann's race saw a notable downturn in pace, from 12:42 min/mile beyond 17 miles to 16:48 min/mile by mile 22. His finishing pace was 12:18 min/mile, accumulating an overall time of 5:22:16. Subsequent miles showed considerable increases in split times, peaking at a split pace of 20:34 min/mile for mile 23.
