Strong Mid-Race Performance and Consistent Finish Alex Coreth showed a steady performance at the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Starting at a pace of 11:13 min/mile for the first mile, Alex gradually picked up speed, reaching her peak between miles 2 and 3 with a pace of 10:54 min/mile. Notably, this consistent effort allowed her to improve significantly in the overall standings, jumping over 470 places from mile 1 to mile 3. While the initial miles demonstrated a promising pace, fatigue seemed to set in during the latter part of the race.
