Consistent Pace with Room to Strengthen Finish Jaclyn maintained a solid pace throughout the marathon, averaging an 8:47 min/mile for a total time of 3:50:21 over the 26.2 miles. She showed remarkable consistency with her splits, holding her division place robustly in the top tier, finishing 8th in the F45-49 category. The first half of her race pace was commendable, with standout miles such as 1 and 5 clocking below 8:30 min/mile. It is worth noting the pacing during the latter half of the race. A slight deceleration was observed, particularly after mile 16. For instance, miles 20 through 26 featured splits consistently above 9:00 min/mile. Working on endurance for the latter stages of the course could enhance future performances.
