Consistent Pacing with a Strong Start Emma Frappier, from Williston, VT, completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon with an overall time of 3:50:06, averaging an 8:46 min/mile pace. She maintained a steady mid-race performance from mile 5 to mile 6, improving her division position to 9th, and demonstrated solid pacing in the early miles, quickly progressing from a 9:06 min/mile pace at mile 1 to an impressive 8:03 min/mile at mile 2. Notable improvements in placing were seen at mile 9, where she moved up to 8th in her division. Towards the finish, despite a gradual slowdown from mile 16, with the slowest split occurring at mile 20 with a 9:52 min/mile, she held a consistent performance.
