Consistent Start, Room to Finish Stronger Sera began the race at a strong, consistent pace, maintaining an average split pace between 10:50 and 11:09 min/mile for the first 11 miles. Her performance during this segment saw her place as high as 61st in her division in the 2nd and 3rd miles. Between miles 5 and 9, she effectively steadied her pace, marking consistent improvement and strategic pacing through the early and middle stages, notably placing 98th in the 6th mile. In the later part of the race, her pace slowed, with split times reaching over 14 minutes per mile towards the end. The pace for the last recorded split (mile 26) was 12:53 min/mile, slightly faster than some preceding splits. Overall, Sera completed the marathon in 5:21:43, with an average pace of 12:16 min/mile. Her finishing position in her division was 134th. There's potential to work on endurance and maintaining pace in the latter half for future races.
