Consistent Middle Splits with Slower Finishing Miles Highlight Harmony's Marathon Effort Harmony Bradshaw began the Vermont City Marathon with an opening mile pace of 9:56 min/mile and improved her pace consistently over the early miles. Notably, the fastest mile was mile 5, clocking in at a pace of 9:23 min/mile. Harmony initially climbed steadily in placement, peaking at 470th overall during miles 2 and 3. This demonstrates a strong and promising initial push. The second half of the marathon proved more challenging, as Harmony's pace gradually slowed, with mile 25 being the slowest split at 16:36 min/mile. The overall finish time of 4:40:12 placed her 1068th overall. While there is an opportunity for enhancing the stamina to maintain the early pace, the consistency and improvement in the middle miles show potential for future races. Further focus on pacing and endurance towards the latter part of the race could benefit subsequent performances.
