Date: May 24, 2026 Participant: Joshua Zwick #292 Race: 2026 Vermont City Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles

Consistent Performance with Strong Division Placement Joshua Zwick maintained a steady pace during the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, averaging a pace of 7:53 min/mile over the full 26.2 miles. Notably, Joshua's split times showed consistency, with a few accelerations, particularly noticeable in miles 4 (7:42) and 25 (7:45), highlighting his ability to pick up speed in the later stages of the race. In the M50-54 division, Joshua secured the 8th position, demonstrating a strong placement within his age group. While his overall progression saw slight variations, such as the faster pace in mile 9 (7:36) and the final mile (7:38), maintaining a similar pace among the majority of the course ensures cardiovascular capacity and endurance consistency. To continue refining race strategy, Joshua might focus on sustaining those earlier accelerations into the final stages to keep gaining positions overall. Well done on completing the marathon!
