Her performance throughout the race exhibited resilience, particularly in the first half where she managed to keep her pace mostly under 11 minutes per mile. Notably, Abby's overall placement improved after the initial few miles, reaching her best division place at mile 1 as 55th in F25-29. In the later stages, Abby's pace slowed slightly, averaging an overall pace of 12:37 min/mile. Looking at mile 23, where her split time was at its highest at 16:29, it reflects a potential area for focus on maintaining consistent energy towards the finish. Despite this, her overall position remained competitive, concluding the marathon in 5:30:58 with commendable consistency across her splits.
