Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Steve Flanagan maintained an impressive and consistent performance throughout the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. With an overall elapsed time of 2:46:00 and an average pace of 6:20 per mile, Steve showed remarkable control over his pace. Notably, his initial mile at 6:10 set a strong tone. He displayed remarkable consistency as he largely maintained a sub 6:20/min split pace, only varying slightly during the later stages of the race. His ability to regain pace in the ninth mile, clocking in at 6:06, demonstrated his resilience and capacity to push through the mid-race stages effectively.
