Steady Pace with Growth Opportunities Krystle Andrews completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon with an overall time of 4:58:14, averaging an 11:22-minute mile over the 26.2-mile race. She started strong with the first three miles under an 11-minute pace, peaking impressively in her 6th mile with a pace of 9:49 min/mile. Notably, her placement often fluctuated; she achieved her highest division placement at mile 6, securing 23rd place in her age group (F45-49). While there was a noticeable decrease in Krystle's pace from mile 16 onward, her performance remained consistent, emphasizing endurance. A 12:34 min/mile pace was noted at mile 20, but she maintained strong participation throughout, finishing 32nd in her division. There is an opportunity to focus on the latter segment of the race to enhance performance further. Training on pacing consistency in longer distances may help lessen pace reductions in later miles.
