Consistent Early Splits, Strong Finish Rebecca Fuchs maintained a solid pace in the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, with her splits showcasing a consistent early performance. The race started strong, with mile one at 10:26 min/mile, and each subsequent split until mile 5 ranging between 9:57 and 10:11 min/mile, reflecting stable pacing. Notably, from miles 8 to 13, her pace remained steady between 10:10 and 10:20 min/mile, indicating remarkable stamina control. In the latter half, Rebecca showed determination despite pacing challenges. Although she experienced a lag with a 12:08 min/mile in mile 20, she managed to recover with a decent finishing pace, bringing the average to 10:43 min/mile by the race's end. Ending with an overall time of 4:41:07, a review of the slowdown in later miles could provide insights. Continuing to focus on later-stage endurance will be beneficial going forward.
