Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish in Division Terrence Martin maintained a commendable pace throughout the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, completing the race in 2:35:02 with an overall pace of 5:55 min/mile. Of note, Terrence achieved a stellar 3rd place in the M25-29 age division. He started strong with a 5:52 opening mile and managed to keep his pace consistent, fluctuating slightly between 5:48 and 6:07 per mile across the 26.2-mile distance. Terrence executed tactical pacing, especially noticeable in the latter half of the race where he consistently placed in the top 5 for his division. A highlight was his performance at mile 22 with a split of 5:45, showcasing an ability to quicken towards the end. A slight reduction in time at miles 15 and 20 can be noted for potential improvement. Concluding the marathon in 24th place overall from 1834 participants, his performance is commendable for both endurance and speed.
