Strong Finish with a Gradual Pace Improvement Grace Woroch displayed a commendable race performance at the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. Covering a distance of 26.2 miles with a final time of 3:17:31, Grace maintained an overall pace of 7:32 minutes per mile. Her strong placement saw her finishing 32nd among all female participants and 9th in the F30-34 division out of 1834 total participants. Grace's race strategy showed remarkable consistency, with her pace progressing notably in the latter stages. From her initial mile at 7:52 min/mile, she strategically increased her speed, peaking at a split pace of 6:45 min/mile by the final mile. This gradual acceleration indicates strong endurance and suggests potential for even faster finishes in future events. For continued improvement, maintaining early mile pacing could support a more balanced energy distribution throughout the race. Great job, Grace, and keep up the strong momentum!
