Consistent Performance with Strong Mid-Race Pace Sarah Leimer completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, clocking in at 5:25:33. Noteworthy was her mid-race performance, maintaining a steady pace around 12:12 min/mile for several splits. One highlight was during mile 9 with a swift 11:24 min/mile, helping her regain momentum after a slower start. Her final marathon pace averaged 12:25 min/mile. Sarah started strong, as evidenced by the early improvement in position, moving from 1274th overall at the first mile to 749th by mile 2. Miles 9 through 13 saw well-paced runs, keeping her in the top 500 of her gender. While there was a notable dip in pace around miles 20 and 23, Sarah quickly adjusted and maintained a stable position.
