Notably, his strongest mile times were 12:41 during mile 9 and 12:43 at mile 14, exhibiting capability for acceleration amidst the race. His overall average pace was 13:31 minutes per mile, concluding the 26.2-mile marathon in 5:54:12. Several shifts in placement were observed; Ricky surged to as high as 987th overall at mile 16, and finished 1415th overall. Within his division (M60-64), he placed 28th consistently in various splits, showing steadiness among his peers. Focusing on maintaining or improving the pace in the latter part of the race, when paces slightly decreased, could help further leverage his potential in future races.
