Steady Start with Opportunities for Pacing Adjustments Jason Cleven completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon with a time of 3:38:46, maintaining an average pace of 8:21 min/mile. Starting strong, he clocked the first mile at a 7:35 min/mile pace, placing well within his division at 49th by the one-mile mark. Through the first half of the race, Jason maintained an admirable performance, with consistent paces between 7:35 and 7:46 min/mile. Notably, between miles 4 and 6, he achieved some of his highest placements, reaching 183rd overall. In the latter stages, there was a gradual slowdown, with split times extending beyond the 9-minute mark after mile 17.
