Sustained Performance with Room for Growth Blaise Pasquier maintained a consistent performance throughout the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, completing the race in 4:41:06 with an average pace of 10:43 min/mile. Notably, the first half of the race demonstrated strong pacing, with progressively improved splits such as the 9th mile at 9:30 min/mile. Particularly strong was his performance in the 6th mile, clocking a swift 9:39 min/mile. These faster splits contributed to his overall performance early in the race. Towards the later stages, the pace slightly dipped, especially between the 16th and 26th mile, with observed slower splits like mile 16 at 12:14 min/mile. Despite this, Blaise exhibited resilience, finishing 1076th overall in a field of 1834 participants and 104th in his division. There is a clear opportunity to enhance endurance towards the race's end to improve overall time and maintain a steadier pace throughout.
