Consistent Pacing and Strong Division Finish Alex Archer completed the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon with a total time of 2:21:25, maintaining an impressive average pace of 5:23 per mile over the entire 26.2-mile distance. Alex excelled in his division, finishing first in the M30-34 category. Notably, Alex was able to achieve a high rank in the overall standings, placing fourth among 1,834 participants, illustrating a commendable performance throughout. Throughout the race, Alex showed remarkable consistency with split times consistently hovering around the 5:20 to 5:23 mark. At mile 14, Alex reached a peak performance moment, regaining the second-place spot with a strong 5:21 mile. Although there were slight increases in split times during some later segments, such as a 5:49-minute mile at mile 20, Alex managed to maintain a steady pace overall, finishing strongly and securing a top place in his respective division.
