Consistent Effort with Strong Finish in Marathon Jack displayed consistent pacing throughout the marathon, maintaining a solid average pace of 7:29 min/mile. The first half of the race showed resilience and control with splits mostly in the 7:12 to 7:19 min/mile range, including a notably fast 7:01 min/mile at mile 9. Jack's pacing hovered around 7:12 to 7:14 min/mile between miles 2 and 10, showcasing a steady performance and strategic approach in the early phases. In the latter part of the race, Jack experienced some slowing, with splits edging into the 7:32 to 8:47 min/mile range. The overall finishing position was 23rd in the division M16-24. It's commendable that Jack maintained top 25 division placement among the age group participants. While the pace slightly declined in the final miles, targeting even pacing in future efforts could improve overall race efficiency and competitive results.
