Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Vicki maintained an impressive level of consistency throughout the marathon distance of 26.2 miles, concluding with an overall time of 5:10:21 and an average pace of 11:50 min/mile. Her performance was notably steady with several splits recording near or under the 11-minute mile pace. She showed resilience, especially in mile 9 with a pace of 10:16 min/mile and in the final mile hitting a pace of 10:26 min/mile. The consistent early and strong finish points towards well-managed pacing. The second half saw some minor pace variations, with a slower segment in mile 23 of 13:53 min/mile but this was promptly followed by a robust concluding mile. Vicki placed 16th in her division (F55-59) out of 26, a commendable finish among competitive peers. For future races, focusing on maintaining the pace from miles 14 to 23 could potentially improve overall time and division placement.
