Consistent Pace Leads to Strong Overall Placement The performance at the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon Relay was marked by a consistent pace throughout the race, culminating in a finish time of 3:18:38 and an average pace of 7:34 min/mile. Early miles were consistent, with splits ranging from 7:45 min/mile to 7:21 min/mile, capturing 7th in the Men's Open division early on. Notably, the later miles around the 9th mile showed an impressive split time of 6:53 min/mile, a key moment that boosted overall standing. From miles 19-21, despite the split pace modestly increasing to the 8:03 min/mile range, the ability to reclaim focus resulted in regaining a smoother pace in the final stretches. The solid relay efforts resulted in finishing 22nd overall and 11th for gender.
