Consistent Speed with a Strong Finish The Flying Turkeys maintained an impressive overall pace of 7:14 min/mile, completing the 26.2-mile marathon relay in 3:09:53. Consistency was a key factor throughout the race, with their pace remaining within a few seconds across early splits, dipping to 6:25 min/mile by the 9-mile mark. Notably, they gained speed again toward the latter part, achieving a remarkable last-mile split of 5:57 min/mile. Throughout the race, they achieved an overall place of 10 out of 444 participants and secured 5th in their gender category, advancing into 2nd place in their division. They demonstrated excellent endurance and maintained pace through various sections, showcasing their strength in closing strong with several sub-seven-minute splits toward the finish.
