Consistent Pace with a Strong Outcome Jesus Mendoza maintained a solid and consistent performance throughout the 2026 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon. He achieved an overall time of 3:14:58 with an average pace of 7:26 min/mile. Notably, Jesus demonstrated his ability to maintain a consistent pace, with splits ranging from 7:02 to 8:33 min/mile. The fastest split occurred at mile 9 with a time of 6:57 min/mile, showcasing a burst of speed. His performance placed him 167th amongst males and 37th in the M25-29 division out of 1834 total participants. While Jesus exhibited strong pacing, there were minor fluctuations toward the latter part of the race. For future races, maintaining that uniform pace across all stages might solidify his overall performance.
