Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Steady Turnaround Pays Dividends Brenda Beck, racing in the 2026 Vacation Races | Glacier Half, demonstrated a savvy mix of tenacity and strategic pace management. Starting at a steady 12:26 min/mile in the first mile, Brenda found her rhythm and progressively improved, achieving her fastest pace of 9:44 min/mile in the final stretch. Throughout this 13.1-mile journey, Brenda excelled in the F55-59 division, comfortably landing in the top 10. Her final time of 2:34:26 and an average pace of 11:47 min/mile underscored her consistent effort. Brenda's standout moment came in miles 6 to 8, where she dipped under an 11-minute mile pace, exhibiting her ability to adapt and push when needed. While maintaining consistent positioning, she fluctuated minimally in her overall and gender standings. If Brenda can work on pacing consistency midway, she might see even stronger results.
