Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Stef Rallies in the Glacier Half Marathon Finale! Stef Funk, hailing from Chicago, kicked off his 13.1-mile race with two consistent splits, clocking in at 11:37 minutes per mile. As the race progressed, Stef showed impressive grit by moving up to 479th overall by mile three. Notably, he maintained an even keel despite the pace slowing to 13:23 during this split. In mile six, Stef clocked an impressive 11:09, showcasing a strong recovery in speed, which led him to the final leg of the race. Now, here's where things get really excitingStef saved his best for last! By mile 12, he charged ahead with a split pace of 9:47, his fastest of the day, finishing the half marathon with an overall pace of 11:40 min/mile. Though he began at 509th, Stef crossed the finish line as the 522nd participant, positioning him 228th among males and 52nd in his age group. Keep refining that pace consistency early, Stef, and you'll continue to impress!
