Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish! Chhunheng Chom from Pickerington, OH, showcased tremendous capability in the 2026 Vacation Races | Glacier Half. His steady performance through the first few miles resulted in a fantastic ranking improvement, moving into the top 200 overall, with a time of 2:07:29. Chhunheng demonstrated a keen ability to pace smartly, evidenced by his third-mile split at 12:07 min/mile compared to 13:25 min/mile for the first. His consistent drop in pace towards the finish, with a final split at 7:10 min/mile, truly emphasized his endurance and strategic pacing. Being 42 years of age, Chhunheng ranked 8th in his division M40-44, a noteworthy achievement among 1505 participants. His strongest performance was seen from the 10th mile to the 13th, where his pace averaged below 10 minutes per mile.
