Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Sprinting with Character, Leaving Numbers Behind Michael set off his half marathon journey in Glacier Half with a steady clip, opening with a 14:25 pace. His performance saw a series of varied paces, revealing a heartening final surge in the middle of the race with a 12:02 split at mile 6. Although he ranked 69th in his male division, he demonstrated growth, improving back to a 14:21 mile by the final mile. Our friend Michael from Chicago showed resilience, completing 13.1 miles with a total time of 3:21:49, posting an overall pace of 15:24 min/mile. This race had 1,505 participants, and Michael finished as the 943rd runner overall. His determination was evident in miles 7 and 8 when he drew closer to his initial pace.
