Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Kristi Fogli #1410 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Steady Progression Pays Off Kristi Fogli, hailing from the lovely Portland, OR, certainly showed determination and consistency in her performance at the 2026 Glacier Half. Lets give a big cheer for her pacing strategy, which saw improvement as she progressed through the race. After starting with a pace of 17:17 min/mile, Kristi found her rhythm, picking up the pace significantly in later miles, even hitting a swift 11:25 min/mile split between miles 8 and 9. As we look closer, Kristi's splits display a gripping tale of perseverance. Her final elapsed time was 3:11:28, with an average pace of 14:37 min/mile. Ending 45th in her division of F45-49 shows her competitive spirit among 1505 overall participants. Kristi's improvement in pacing towards the latter part of the race was a strong highlight. As she continues to develop this strength in future events, maintaining that focus and drive will be key. Way to go, Kristi!
