Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Paul's Steady Strong Finish Paul Minder, at 61 years young, completed the 2026 Glacier Half Marathon with an overall time of 3:08:00. Throughout the 13.1-mile journey, he maintained a consistent pace of 14:21 min/mile, showing true determination every step of the way. Starting strong with an opening mile pace of 15:52, Paul picked up the momentum significantly, especially noticeable from miles 6 through 9, dropping down to a swift 10:12 min/mile at mile 9. While he found himself at an admirable 17th in his M60-64 age group, his relentless pursuit and improvement in the latter half of the race demonstrate his tenacity. Notably, Paul crossed the finish line in 868th position overall among 1505 participants. His performance from mile 12 onwards, where he clinched a steady pace under 12 minutes, highlights his stamina and determination to finish strong.
