Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Priscilla Siu #2068 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Priscilla, Champion of Consistency and Comeback Priscilla's race kicked off with a steady start, clocking a 9:32-minute mile in the first split and holding a robust position, ranking 6th in her division. The middle segments saw her pace dip slightly, maxing at 12:18, by which she slipped to 14th in division standings. But like a fine wine, she aged well over this half marathon, hitting her fastest split on the back half with a speedy 7:36-mile in the 7th mile. Thats the stuff right there! The closing miles witnessed Priscilla find her rhythm again, wrapping up the 13.1 miles in a total time of 2:05:07, with an overall pace of 9:33/mile. Holding tight to her division, Priscilla clawed her way back to 10th place in F30-34 standings. She truly showcased resilience and a finish-line sprint prowess. Keep that consistency high and maybe focus on sustaining those early paces longer. Well done, Priscilla!
