Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Bev Stoker #2097 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Steady Progress and a Strong Finish Bev Stoker, hailing from Humble, Texas, put in a tremendous effort at the 2026 Vacation Races | Glacier Half Marathon. The journey started with a steady pace of 14:16 min/mile in the first mile, showing her determination to start solidly. She maintained her rhythm and reached the 6th mile with a time of 1:31:19, picking up the pace with her fastest mile at 10:39 min/mile. The latter half of the race saw Bev dig deep and accelerate her performance, completing the final mile in 9:58 min/mileher swiftest of the day. Bev finished with an elapsed time of 2:52:41 and an overall pace of 13:10 min/mile, securing a notable 19th place in her division. Bev's impressive seventh split shows great potential and reflects her ability to finish strong. With consistent pace work, her upward trajectory could continue even further. Keep the faith, Bev!
