Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Kirk Stoker #2098 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Kirk's Consistent Comeback Tour Well, folks, Kirk from Humble, TX, certainly lived up to his town's name with a steady performance at the 2026 Glacier Half. He clocked in at 2:52:37, averaging a 13:10 min/mile pace. Across all participants, he notched a respectable 759th finish among 1505 runners. Now, thats a consistent effort right there! Kirks splits show a fascinating journey through the course. His fastest mile came in at mile 6 with a pace of 10:34 min/mile. Thats the kind of pace that makes your hat want to jump right off your head to cheer! While mile 5 seemed a bit challenging with a 20:58 min/mile pace, Kirk rallied back with consistent improvement, finishing strong.
