Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Caleb Schulze #2032 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Steady Pace with a Strong Finish Caleb Schulze from Minneapolis delivered a consistent performance at the 2026 Vacation Races Glacier Half Marathon. Starting strong with a first-mile pace of 12:52 min/mile, he stayed determined as his pacing varied. A standout moment was mile nine, clocking in at 9:00 min/mile, showcasing his potential for speed, even in the later stages of the race. His final burst of energy was impressive, closing the race with an 8:11 min/mile pace on the 13th mile and an overall time of 2:22:01. Caleb's performance placed him 372nd overall out of 1505, as well as 182nd in his gender category and 43rd in his division. To maintain this momentum, Caleb might consider developing endurance strategies for a more evenly distributed pace throughout future races. Keep up the great work, Caleb!
