Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Kyle Jones-Carver #1579 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Kyle's Consistent and Determined Run at Glacier Half Marathon! Running a half marathon is like coaching a soccer matchyouve got to pace yourself and never lose sight of the goal. Kyle showed determination and consistency, finishing the 13.1-mile course with a total time of 3:16:36, and an overall average pace of 15:00 min/mile. Initially setting out with a steady pace, Kyle clocked a 14:49 min/mile in the first mile. Keeping the energy going, he achieved his fastest split at mile 6 with a commendable pace of 11:48 min/mile. Challenges are a chance to shine, and Kyle managed all obstacles with resilience. Although mile 5 saw a slower pace of 20:32 min/mile, he rebounded remarkably, improving to 11:27 min/mile in the final mile. Overall, Kyle placed 919th among 1505 participants and 67th in his division, Men 30-34. Keep up that positive mindset, Kyleyou're a determined runner with a commendable spirit!
