Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Stacey Sessions #2047 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Consistency and a Strong Finish: Stacey's Race Recap Stacey Sessions may not have time-traveled, but she sure made some impressive temporal strides during the 2026 Glacier Half Marathon. Starting the race with a steady pace of 14:47 min/mile, she found her groove and maintained excellent consistency until mile 6, where she picked up the pace with an invigorating 11:01 min/mile split. That's like catching lightning in a bottle, folks! The latter half of her race showcased her tenacity as she continually improved her pace. Stacey finished with a stellar 10:12 min/mile in the last mile, completing the course with a time of 2:57:14. Ranking 21st in her division of F60-64 among a total of 1505 participants is no small potatoes! Next time, she might want to focus on maintaining the speed she displayed in the latter half to break that 13:31 min/mile average pace. Keep on shinin'!
