Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Erika's Steady Perseverance Shines Through Erika Schaper from Stowe, Vermont tackled the 2026 Vacation Races Glacier Half Marathon with a determined spirit. She maintained a steady overall pace of 16:51 min/mile, completing the 13.1-mile course in a time of 3:40:46. Erika showed notable consistency, keeping her pace within a range that afforded her an overall placement of 994 out of 1505 participants. Midway through her race, Erika impressed with a notably fast sixth mile split at 12:28 min/mile, demonstrating her ability to push the pace when needed. Maintaining a strong finish, her final mile split was also notable, clocking in at 15:35 min/mile. Though the field was competitive, Erika's finish in the top half of her division F30-34 was commendable.
