Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Consistent Pace and Strong Finish in the Glacier Half Marathon Justine Abrook tackled the Glacier Half Marathon with a steady start and a strong finish. Her performance demonstrated consistent pacing across the 13.1 miles, with a final elapsed time of 2:51:54 and an overall pace of 13:07 minutes per mile. Notably, her sixth split was a highlight with a split time of 10:24, showcasing efficient stride and determination. Justine's overall placement was 746th out of 1505 participants, positioning her 18th in the F50-54 division, showing strong competitiveness in her age group. Justine improved from a 15:01 pace during the eleventh mile to a swift 12:19 pace in the thirteenth mile, indicating a powerful ability to accelerate towards the race's end. She fluctuated moderately in paces, with her first mile time of 13:40 setting a comfortable rhythm. Encouragement to keep concentrating on that solid finish will serve her well in future races, as that kind of determination and endurance are a coachs delight!
