Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Jacob Isaacson #1559 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Speedy Sprints and Steady Stamina! Jacob Isaacson, at a spry 25, displayed some sensational footwork in the 2026 Glacier Half Marathon. Hailing from Nashua, NH, Jacob held an impressive overall second place with an overall time of 1:26:42, sprinting through the 13.1 miles at an average pace of 6:37 min/mile. Jacob started strong, leading the pack early on and wrapping up the first mile in 7:15. Jacob kept the momentum alive with standout moments, like hitting his fastest split at mile 9 with a slick 5:36. He finished consistent, staying near the top, which is as sweet as peach pie. Its like watching poetry in motion! Jacob can think about staying closer to his fastest pace throughout. There's no telling how high you can fly with this dedication and strategy. Well done, Jacob you ran like Zeus himself was chasing you!
