Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Zachary Powers Through the Glacier Half with Flawless Execution Zachary Coccoli from Helena, MT truly embodied the spirit of a fierce competitor at the 2026 Vacation Races | Glacier Half Marathon. Over the course of 13.1 miles, he maintained an impressive average pace of 6:34 min/mile, clinching the top overall spot out of 1,505 participants. Lets give him a round of applause for holding first place in his gender and age division as well! His splits show meticulous pacing with standout moments, such as mile nine with an exhilarating 5:39 min/mile pace. Zachary displayed strategic acumen, with particular finesse in the second half of the race, including blazing through mile 13 with a swift 5:25 pace. A slight bump in pace was observed in miles four and five, where he paced at 7:48 and 7:54, respectively. However, he swiftly rebounded with a dynamic recovery. His exhilarating finish at 1:26:13 showcases his remarkable determination and athletic prowess. Keep shining, Zachary!
