Date: March 1, 2025 Participant: Sedona Dionne #1356 Race: 2026 Glacier Half Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Cool. Perfect running conditions, except for the 21 mph head wind. Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Speedy Start, Strong Finish Sedona Dionne from Cheyenne, WY, showcased an impressive performance at the 2026 Vacation Races | Glacier Half. With an overall time of 1:35:58, she maintained an average pace of 7:19 min/mile, highlighting her consistent speed throughout the challenging 13.1 miles. Notably, Sedona was second in her division and consistently maintained those ranks for the first half of the race, underscoring her steadfast pacing strategy. In the latter part of the race, Sedona kicked things into high gear with remarkable negative splits. Her pace picked up significantly from the 6th mile with a 6:44 min/mile, continuing to improve to an impressive 6:27 min/mile by the final stretch.
