Consistent Effort with Room for Strategic Adjustments Marchelle Elmer from Springville, UT, completed the 2026 Vacation Races Rocky Mountain Half Marathon with a time of 2:34:25, maintaining an average pace of 11:47 min/mile. Consistency was key, as highlighted in her pacing for the first few splits, starting strong with a 9:54 min/mile pace in the first mile. However, by mile 5, her pace slowed to 13:19 min/mile, before picking up in mile 6 with a burst of energy at 9:59 min/mile. Her overall placing was 440th out of 802, ranking her 16th in the F50-54 division. Compared to her previous half marathon performance in 2025, Marchelle's pace slowed slightly from 11:35 min/mile. Closing the race strong could be an area of focus.
