Consistent Mid-Pack Performance with Strong Finish Vinit Nagaich demonstrated a steady pace throughout the 2026 Vacation Races | Rocky Mountain Half. Starting with a strong 7:45 min/mile in the first mile, Vinit maintained an average pace close to 8:28 min/mile over the 13.1-mile distance. Impressively, Vinit quickened his splits in miles 6 and 8, with paces of 7:58 and 7:32 min/mile, respectively. This consistency contributed to an overall time of 1:50:59, placing 51st out of 802 participants. While there was a slight decrease in pace in the latter stages, the final positions were well-maintained, concluding 13th in the M30-34 division. The splits showed a capacity to surge effectively, which is a valuable trait in maintaining competitive placement. Focusing on maintaining the pace from earlier strong miles toward the end could yield even better results in future races. Well-paced, with potential for further improvements in consistency during later stages.
